We Need You!! Howard Street Charter School depends on support from parents, alumni and community members to provide funding for needed technology, supplies, field trips and other student needs. This year your support is especially important as the school district is facing substantial budget cuts.

Top 4 Ways to Help our Kids:
- Come to the Auction. Enjoy dinner, dancing and the chance to bid on some special items at Illahee Country Club. Tickets cost $75.00.
- Donate. The success of the auction depends on donations of items from parents and community members. Please consider donating at least one item, or more if you are able. Donations may include tangible items such as electronics or art, tickets, services, gift cards, or time at a vacation house, and can be dropped off at the school office. More ideas are listed below. Feel free to donate according to class theme:
- Sixth grade: gardening/home decor
- Seventh grade: chocolate/wine/treats
- Eighth grade: bath/beauty/gift cards
- Volunteer. We need help to put this event together. Help is needed with planning and the night of the auction. Please contact Teresa Maurmann at 503.949.7064 or by e-mail at arianasmom (at) hotmail (dot) com
- Business Sponsor. Please consider advertising on our event programs or on a reusable canvas bag that will be available at the auction for purchase. Advertising cost is only $100.00 for a logo or business card.
- Donate directly to the HSCS Foundation. If all families would donate $100.00, we would be well on our way to supplementing the budget shortfall.
